Governor Dr Dauda Lawal Dare of Zamfara state has resolved to focus on the provisions of health care service, education, infrastructures, security, and jobs creation for the development of the state.

Dr Lawal Dare who was elected under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic party (PDP) made the declaration during the formal swearing in ceremony as 5th executive governor of Zamfara state held at Trade Fair complex, Bye pass road Gusau, the state capital.
Speaking after administering the oath of office from the state Chief Judge, Hajia Kulu Isah Aliyu, Governor Dauda Lawal Dare informed the people’s of the state that the present administration inherit empty state Treasury with liabilities worth hundred billions of naira from the former administration of Bello Matawalle.
While commending the general public , particularly the women and youths for given him the madates to contribute his quota for the development of the state, Dr Dauda however called on general public to exercise patience and give him maximum cooperation for the desire objective to be achieved.
According to him with all the financial challenges facing the state, the present administration will do everything possible to ensure that youths are actively engaged in educational pursuits at primary up to the tertiary institutions adding that his administration will partner with federal government to eliminate the issues of banditry and other terrorism activities in the state.
“it is very easier to destroy, but it will take long time to revive, however with your prayers in Sha Allah we will succeed ” he noted.
He however appeals to the entire people’s of the state to continue to praying for the present administration to succeed.
In another development, Governor Dauda Lawal Dare has appointed Hon. Abubakar Nakwada and state People’s Democratic Party Acting Chairman, Hon. Mouktari Ahmad Lugga as Secretary to the state Government and Chief of Staff, Government House respectively.
Presenting the appointment documents to the appointees at a ceremony held at Government House Gusau, Governor Dauda Lawal Dare stated that their appointment was made based on their records of service and commitment to the development of their communities and state in general.
